After a 15 year corporate career in HR and talent management working in leadership roles around the world for companies like Yahoo! and Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, James moved into leadership and talent consulting in 2005. Since moving into consulting, James has founded and led several of his own companies including Strengthscope®, a global strengths assessment and consulting company.
Based on his strong belief in the power of positive leadership and a desire to help leaders build thriving workplaces where people achieve amazing results, enjoy better work lives and help make the world a better place, James established Plexus Leadership.
Our company name was inspired by human biology. A “plexus” is a vital network of vessels or nerves in the human body. It is central to the effective functioning of our body. Just like the critical role leaders play in helping people and organizations thrive, plexuses provide our body with vital information, nutrients and oxygen so we can thrive.

Leadership Facilitators
Location: UK and Europe
Our leadership facilitators are engaging, passionate and impactful. To be considered, you will need:
- Relevant industry experience, ideally from innovative sectors such as Tech, Digital, Media, Advertising and Life Sciences
- A recognized training or facilitation qualification
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to be engaging and impactful
- Degree-level qualification in psychology or business
- Successful track record in leadership development and facilitation
- A passion for learning and self-improvement
- International experience will be an advantage
Leadership Coaches
Location: UK and Europe
Our executive and leadership coaches are commercially savvy, passionate about leadership and skilled at bringing out the very best in their clients and their organizations. To be considered, you will need:
- Relevant industry experience, ideally from innovative sectors such as Tech, Digital, Media, Advertising and Life Sciences
- A recognized coaching qualification and a track record of at least 5 years coaching at senior levels (executive and Board experience will be a distinct advantage)
- Experience in management and leadership roles
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Degree-level qualification in psychology or business
- Successful track record in coaching executives, leaders and managers
- International experience will be an advantage
Business Development Executive
Location: UK and Europe
Lead the company’s outbound and inbound sales activities to help achieve the company’s sales and growth targets.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in telesales, recruitment or customer service, ideally in a B2B environment
- Degree-level qualification (business studies or psychology preferable)
- Results-driven person willing to persevere to achieve targets
- Strong initiative with a passion for finding & closing opportunities
- Exceptional relationship skills, including the confidence to deal with senior people
- Strong empathy and curiosity to build high trust and strong partnerships with clients
